The Phoenix Archtop:
This is a 17″ archtop guitar with a single cutaway. The top is Sitka Spruce, and sides and back are Flamed Maple. This guitar is available as an acoustic, or with pickups (floating or built in). The guitar shown below has a single floating Kent Armstropng pickup with volume and tone controls under the pickguard.  It also has quilted maple bindings, with a bound headstock.   The finish is our “natural” sunburst, which has become one of our most popular.  Please click here to view our pricing guide.

The Phoenix 16 Archtop:

This guitar has a 16″ lower bout, but still has a huge acoustic sound.  The guitar shown has a Western Red Cedar top (choco-vanilla cedar), and figured Cherry sides and back.  The bindings are Macassar Ebony, and it also has a Macassar Ebony bevel for comfort.  This is a feature available on any of our guitars.  Also, note that this guitar has a floating pickup, but instead of having stealth controls under the pickguard, the controls are on the top–but outside the F-holes to optimize acoustic volume and tone.  The finish on this guitar is natural.

The Phoenix 15 archtop:

This guitar has a 15″ lower bout archtop that has an amazing sound for a small package, and was specifically designed for its comfort.  It not only has a great acoustic sound, but its acoustics add a tremendous quality to a pickup.  The guitar shown has sides and back of stunning quilted maple, and  a three tone sunburst with a floating Kent Armstropng pickup, but is available with a built in pickup, or any of our custom finishes.  It is also available as a thinline.

The custom 14

The Custom 14 is spectacular for a small body guitar.  With only a 14″ lower bout, it adds a huge sound to the electronics, and is extremely comfortable to play.  It has a full 24.9 scale length.  This is no chambered electric, but a full hollow body guitar with a sound that can’t  be matched with any solid body electric.  It is available with one pickup or two, floating or built in.

The guitar shown is a thinline, but it is available in a deeper body, with more acoustic properties, or any of our other finishes.
